The Crucial 512 SSD works great in the Ninja at 100, 150, or 220 Mbs/sec, and also in the Black Magic 10 bit uncompressed recorder at 1240 Mbs/sec.

As I understand it, you record at 60i, then bring it into your FCP editor at 24P.

Hi, i am about to get almost the same combo of camera/monitor/recorder. Do you record to the ninja using the HDMI pass through of the DP4? Does this work when recording at 24fps (i kwon it goes as a 60i signal through the HDMI)?

Hi David,

I have two samurai Atomos. I plan to buy/use Crucial M4 512 SSD drive in the Samurai.
(I have 160 OCZ, but too small for documentary use)
Do you confirm that it works perfectly in your Ninja ?
